Project: Steel Arms - first post!

Welcome!
This is a development blog for the game Steel Arms. First up: information about the game.

The game is the final major project for 8 students from QANTM College Sydney. The team is as follows:

Amir Barak - Technical Lead / Programmer
Robert Klein-Beernink - Assistant Project manager / Programmer
Ryder Boyton - Programmer
Andrew Natoli - Project Manager / Programmer
Michael Page - 3D Graphics
Brenden Tehrani - 3D Graphics
Andrew Tran - Art Direction / 3D Graphics
Rakitha Vithanage - 3D Graphics / Cutscene

Steel Arms is a Third Person Shooter, where the player pilots a Mech, as a major player in a futuristic war.

We are using the OGRE3D render system and Havok (free version) for physics, as well as a whole lot of our own code to make this thing run :P

To be completely honest, this blog is waaay overdue, so there will be a bunch of history posts to get this thing up to date, and then we continue from there.

Once the project is completed, a link to the game will appear on this blog.

Enjoy your stay!
